5 things on my mind (and in my notebook)

I try to be an amateur in the studio — I go in there without knowing what the heck I’m doing and just follow my heart and what I’m in love with at the moment. I go into my gigs with the mindset of a professional — I need to know exactly what I’m doing and what I’m gonna do. When I go into the studio, I’m trying to be a kid at play. When I go onstage, I’m a showman putting on a show.
